Kristen Bramley has been riding for over twenty years.  She has been involved in everything from “schoolies” to the competitive show horse.  She has been competing on the “A” circuit for over 15 years.  Kristen has shown her own horses in the hunters, jumpers and equitation.  She has also done some lower level dressage and eventing.  She has ridden with dressage riders such as Lendon Gray, and Kathy Connelly on her own horses as well as clients’ horses.  She has ridden with hunter and jumper riders such as Lisa Jaquin, Rusty Holzer, Jenni Martin, and Eric Horgan.  Kristen has been breeding, raising and training her own horses for 13 years. She enjoys training young horses from the beginning. She worked on the Hanoverian breeding farm in Pennsylvania called Phox Phalian Farm, which once had stood the stallion Abundance.  Kristen had previously managed and was the trainer of a 60 stall boarding, training and lesson facility for 5 years.  She teaches beginners through advanced, green horses through the seasoned veterans.  Her primary goal is to instill confidence in both horse and rider and teach them the most that they are capable of.

Hunters/Jumpers:

The staff at Kasson Ridge puts emphasis on building confidence by teaching the basics to both horse and rider, starting with a single jump, riding a single line and putting your whole course together. Advanced training is available in riding corners, proper lead changes, balancing for the next jump, walking a course or designing your own course.

Equitation:

Equitation is defined as “the art of riding on horseback”. This “art ” is the fundamental basis for our Equitation training programs. Kasson Ridge Farm provides programs that teach basics to riders that have never jumped before, yet assist the riders that have shown to be more successful. Our programs cater to both the serious competitor and the beginner riding enthusiast.  Our Equitation program addresses common issues that develop both in the show ring and at home.
